Privacy, in plain language.

Updated September 7, 2026. This page explains how Roomplanza handles your information when you design rooms, create an account or contact us.

Calculations and saved projects

Calculator inputs are held in the page while you work. When you edit while signed in, valid changes to editable rooms are automatically saved after a short pause, subject to your plan’s limits. Connected spaces use a Save space button. The website stores the project name, measurements, individual wall finishes and opening positions, material selections, prices, included jobs, furniture and accessory dimensions, positions, colors, prices and ownership status, A/B design snapshots, shopping checklist and save timestamps in its database. Saved records are associated with your authenticated user identifier.

The room designer does not request your street address or phone number. Paid checkout is currently unavailable. Avoid putting private information into a project name.

Sign-in and hosting

Customer sign-in uses Supabase Auth for email/password accounts and Google when enabled. The application receives a verified account identifier, email address and optional display name. Passwords entered in the sign-in form are transmitted securely to Supabase; this application does not store passwords in its project database. Essential secure cookies maintain your session and sign-in preference. Email confirmation and password recovery use Supabase’s configured email service. Google receives a sign-in request only when you choose Google. Netlify hosts this website. Supabase stores account information, saved room and space designs, and any migrated private media. These providers process the information needed to operate their services. Older project accounts are connected only after ownership is verified; matching email addresses alone does not link accounts.

Photos and connected spaces

This release does not accept photo uploads or send images for AI generation. Private photos and models stored by an earlier release remain protected by their existing ownership checks when those assets have been migrated with their original designs. They are not sent to a generation provider.

Spaces contain independent room copies, positions and doorway connections. Refreshing a room copy is an explicit action. Deleting an original room does not remove a saved space.

Temporary sign-in draft

When you choose Sign in & save my room, a temporary copy of that room is placed in this browser tab’s session storage to preserve your work through sign-in. It is restored on return, expires for restoration after 24 hours, and is removed after a successful save. It is not a backup.

Plans and payments

The application stores membership status, expiry dates, your editable project selection and payment-provider identifiers. Paid checkout is currently unavailable. A future paid release would use Paddle for checkout and payment details; this site receives verified payment notifications to grant access and links to Paddle for receipts and cancellation. A payment success message alone does not grant paid access. Paddle’s checkout script loads only when you choose to open checkout.

Sharing

A Share plan link contains the plan’s name, measurements, material choices, furniture and accessory details, and prices in the URL fragment. Anyone you give that link to can open the snapshot when they have access to this website. Private photo and generated-model references, the purchased-item checklist and saved A/B snapshots are omitted. Photo floors become their base color in shared copies. Sharing does not give access to other projects in your account.

Shared links are independent copies. Deleting your saved project does not recall a link or an exported file that you have already shared.

Advertising and analytics

We use optional Google Analytics 4 on public pages only after you choose Accept analytics. It helps us understand visits, referring websites, approximate location and device information, and a small set of actions such as editing a plan, saving a room, sharing a link or requesting an export. Events contain a public page address and an action name, not your email, project identifiers, room names, dimensions, furniture details, prices or form contents. Account and sign-in pages, support forms, and links containing query strings or shared designs are excluded. Referring addresses are reduced to their website origin. Google may process analytics information on servers outside your country. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled; AdSense is not loaded.

Your cookie choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. If you accept, our Google Analytics cookies last up to 30 days. You can decline or withdraw consent through Cookie settings in the footer; doing so stops future analytics collection and removes this site’s analytics cookies, while your sign-in continues to work. Withdrawing consent does not delete information already sent to Google. If you block cookies or scripts, analytics may be unavailable, but you can still use the planner.

Deleting a saved project

Open My projects and choose Delete on the relevant project. This removes the application’s saved record. Exported PDFs, CSV files and shared snapshots remain wherever you or a recipient saved them.

Support requests

Our support form collects your name, reply email, request category and message. Netlify Forms stores these submissions and filters spam. The site team uses them to investigate and answer your request. Please do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.

Retention and your choices

Saved designs remain associated with your account until you delete them or request removal. Hosting and database providers may retain limited logs or backups according to their service settings. You can request access, correction or deletion of account information through Contact & support; we verify account ownership before acting. Copies you downloaded or shared remain under the control of their recipients.

Contact and updates

For privacy questions, use Contact Roomplanza and choose Privacy or account deletion. Changes to how the website handles information will be described here with an updated date.
